The ITP Fuel Tank / Pre-Pump Kit is the first step in the fuel system upgrade process. This kit includes all of the parts necessary to eliminate "air leaks" in the fuel circuit before the electric fuel pump (suction side) and add additional fuel filtration. Air in diesel fuel causes noisy operation and can damage the fuel injectors. This kit fits both the Super Duty Trucks and Excursions.

We've finally found a manufacturer willing to rate their hose for Bio-Diesel. Current kits are shipping with Gates LOC-6 hose which is rated for Commercial (BQ-9000 Certified) ULSD and Bio-Diesel. Performance with "Homemade" Bio-Diesel may vary due to differences in the final chemical properties of the fuel. For liability reasons, we still only rate our kits for B20 Bio-Diesel. This is primarily due to the B20 rating Baldwin places on their filters and not the hose we've chosen to use.
The new Gates hose we're using is "Push-Lok" compatible, but existing customers wanting to upgrade to this hose need to be aware that Gates recommends the addition of a clamp in any application where fuel is involved..
NOTE: We do offer this kit without the filter and associated hardware (filter base, bracket, nuts, bolts and fittings) for those wishing to supply their own filter. We DO NOT recommend using this kit without some kind of quality pre-pump filtration.
This kit is NOT required with installations utilizing an AirDog.
This kit does NOT fit the E-Series Van due to the different configuration of the fuel tank. Please do NOT attempt to order this kit for use in an E-Series Van. We do NOT make a kit for the E-Series Vans.
